Wow, it has been a very long time since I made an update. (some posts keep popping up, because I prepared and scheduled them earlier)
Actually I was preparing to completely overhaul the style in which I present pictures of the editions, but then my equipment (both hard- & software) kind of stopped working and in the process the whole project got shelved. However it is still something I want to do and I hope I can restart it properly this month. Even if it means changing to a generic layout after the necessary Software update and going back to the old picture-from-above style for a while.
In the mean time I wanted to at least show you some part of my collection that has been growing in the last few months and that I’ve come to be rather proud of:
The “Korean Movie Series” collection:

A series of VCDs released in late 2002 of classic films that are (to this date) not available on DVD. These are all 2VCD releases in jewel cases with a slipcase, without any subtitles.
They are so hard to come by that I didn’t even know about these until about a year ago and even though I know that there are some more releases in this series – which needles to say I’m trying to hunt down as well – I still haven’t found any info on a complete list of these titles. At least that’s what I would like to say, in reality they are probably quite easy to find in Korea and I’m just looking at all the wrong places.
Either way, I still think that it’s quite a unique set of titles and I’m really glad I could add them to my collection. Even though the picture and sound quality on the VHS or (where available) LD and VOD is probably better I’m happy I can finally watch those films. Many thanks to a friend who helped me get these!
